Painted Rock: Room 31 (location map)
Monday, 3:20 PM - 4:20 PM
11/04/19 - 01/13/20 (6 weeks)

Our program goes beyond learning essential math skills and focuses on WHOLE BRAIN DEVELOPMENT. The goal of the program is to teach students how to mentally calculate while at the same time enhancing and improving their brain.

We use both the physical abacus device and brain training games to train the most crucial cognitive skills such as attention, observation, imagination, and memory. Within a few months, students will be able to solve mathematical problems entirely in their heads, without needing to count on their fingers, use a pen/pencil or depend on a calculator.

Our course includes a small Abacus for the students to keep! In addition, students are provided brain training activities during class time to incorporate various brain games which will help develop their manual dexterity and hands-on motor skills. Students will be divided into two groups (Grades K-2 & Grades 3-5), all returning students will be provided with new and challenging material.
