Canyon View: Multi-Purpose Room (location map)
Thursday, 2:10 PM - 2:55 PM
01/09/20 - 02/13/20 (6 weeks)

This class is high-energy fun! Students get a cardio workout while learning new hip hop choreography each session.  The choreography learned is then presented in a performance at the end of the session. All music is popular songs. Hip Hop is an excellent way for kids to get exercise, challenge their minds, and develop their coordination while having fun and building confidence. The core skills of dance are a great base for all other sports as well. Class sizes are limited to 16 students, with a minimum of 6 students per class. Ms. Lana, Director of Tiny Steps Dance Co., is a Sunset Hills parent. She began dancing at the age of 5 and began teaching and directing at age 16. She also teaches Ballet, Tap, and Creative Dance at the Rose-Ritchie Academy in Rancho Penasquitos. Students should wear loose comfortable clothes and tennis shoes, and bring water to drink. Go to www.TinyStepsDance.com
