Did you know that there are 21 Spanish-speaking countries? We may be stuck at home but this unique Spanish class will take students on a journey around the Spanish-speaking world. On the first day of class, students will make a mini passport to keep track of their travels. A variety of fun activities will be used, including songs, flashcards, and maps. Students will learn commonly used Spanish phrases while developing conversational Spanish language skills. Classes will be culturally-oriented; we will learn about the customs, traditions, capitals, maps, and flags of Spanish-speaking countries. This class is designed for students with no prior experience with Spanish language. Class size is limited to 4 students.
Students will need a notebook & pencil for use during class. They will also need crayons/colored pencils/markers, along with construction paper (or plain white paper will work) to make their mini passport on the first day.
The instructor is a native Spanish speaker. She holds a B.A. in Spanish, an M.A. in International Relations, and she is certified in Cross Cultural Language and Academic Development
You will be contacted by the instructor with the zoom information before the start of class.
